System Solutions Corporation is embarking on a crucial digital transformation, recognising the necessity of an online presence in today's rapidly evolving technological landscape. With no existing website, their primary goal is to establish a strong online marketing platform. The content for this new site will primarily be drawn from their existing social media channels, supplemented by additional information directly from the client. Our initial discussions centred on defining the project's core objectives and identifying the target audience: business owners aged 50 and above who, due to time constraints, prefer efficient and direct online experiences. To cater to this demographic, the client emphasised the need for a straightforward website design coupled with visually appealing graphics to capture and maintain user interest.
Design & Build
After our initial consultations, the client was eager to review the preliminary wireframe design. They saw the wireframe only once, but this single viewing was a crucial step. It gave them a clear visual of the website's proposed layout and flow while targeting the business goal, leading directly to their approval to move forward with the mockup creation and development phases. Throughout the development of the website and its accompanying graphics, regular meetings were held. These ongoing discussions were essential as the client was still finalising key content, particularly details regarding the products they intend to feature and sell. This iterative process ensured that the website's development remained aligned with the client's evolving needs and content.
User-Tested
Upon the completion of the website's development and content integration, a comprehensive testing phase was initiated. The website underwent rigorous testing across various screen devices and orientations to ensure optimal performance and responsiveness. Crucially, user testing was conducted to gather feedback and identify any areas for improvement, particularly concerning the user experience for the target demographic of busy, mature business owners.
